Working in partnership with Careers Development Group (CDG), WISE Ability has formed UK special purpose vehicle CDG – WISE Ability.

CDG is a leading UK charity that supports long-term unemployed people through increasing its customers’ skills, supporting them to gain qualifications and enabling them to move into work. Through the provision of training and support in centres spread from the East Midlands to the Isle of Wight, CDG empowers individuals to find work and improve their quality of life.

WISE Ability offers job seekers everything they require to find a job and sucessfully navigate the pathway to sustained and fulfilling employment. Servicing the South Yorkshire regiion, WISE Ability is delivering Work Programme as a sub-contractor to Serco.

Serco has been a prime contractor of welfare-to-work services since October 2009. Serco's established model for delivering these services is to combine Serco's strengths as a prime contractor with the knowledge and expertise of local providers and stakeholders.

This project is part-financed by the European Union. The European Social Fund in England is investing in jobs and skills - focusing on people who need support the most and helping them fulfill their potential.

WISE Ability will support customers who experience complex work-related support needs arising primarily from disability on the Work Choice programme which is being delivered in the area of South Yorkshire in partnership with Shaw Trust.

Shaw Trust is a national charity which supports disabled and disadvantaged people to prepare for work, find jobs and live more independently. Shaw Trust are the UK’s largest third sector provider and one of the Government’s lead partners in the delivery of employment programmes for those who face barriers due to disability, ill health or social circumstance.
